About Mark Wong

Mark completed his pupillage, retained and practised as a legal associate at Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners, a Legal 500 status firm. Mark was admitted to the Bar in 2010. During his tenure with Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners, his principal areas of practice are corporate finance, capital markets, offshore financing, corporate debt rescheduling, Islamic financing and the issuance of private debt securities including asset-backed securitisation, commercial papers and medium term notes and programmes (both conventional and under the Islamic Syariah principals), convertible exchangeable bonds and other hybrid papers.

Mark has extensive years of experience in conveyancing and corporate banking field and he has extensive experience in dealing with clients, drafting legal documentations and have a thorough knowledge of the process and procedures of due diligence exercise, initial public offering, debt capital markets, merger & acquisition and corporate banking.

Acted for and advised corporate clients in development, management, acquisition and disposal of commercial and industrial properties.

Acted for and advised individuals and companies on issues relating to Malaysian and off shore Trust issues.

Acted for and advised banks and other financial institutions in connection with commercial/retail finance facilities, in conventional and Islamic principles, to companies and individuals.
